Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children is currently seeking a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Hepatologist and Medical Director of Solid Organ Transplantation Division with strong clinical skills in pediatric transplant hepatology to join our division in Wilmington, Delaware. We have an active pediatric solid organ transplant program and an established multidisciplinary team to manage these challenging patients.
The candidate’s responsibilities will include participating in the clinical, educational, quality improvement, and research activities of the Division of Gastroenterology/Hepatology, Liver Transplant and Department of Pediatrics. The Director will be expected to build the clinical referral base, serve as a mentor to other physicians and Associates, and participate in Divisional teaching activities. He or she will be responsible for the transplant division clinical activity, research, academics and center growth.

The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition serves infants, children and adolescents who have all types of gastrointestinal and nutritional disorders. These disorders include abdominal pain, inflammatory bowel disease such as Crohn’s disease, celiac disease and ulcerative colitis, chronic liver disorders, malabsorptive disorders and feeding disorders. Comprehensive outpatient and inpatient services are available for evaluation, diagnosis and management of routine and complex gastroenterologic disorders.
