The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at Children’s Hospital of Michigan is actively seeking an additional fellowship-trained Pediatric Endocrinologist as they continue to expand to better serve the endocrine needs of children living in the Metro Detroit area.
The group is comprised of 7 physicians, one nurse practitioner, diabetes nurse educators, endocrine nurses, dietitians, and social worker and together they provide a team approach to patient care.
Responsibilities include seeing patients in an inpatient and outpatient clinic setting along with other division members. The call schedule is divided with other division members with a minimum of 1 in 6 calls. Weekend and holiday call is divided amongst the group.
An interest in academics is highly preferred as Children’s Hospital of Michigan is the training location for one of the largest pediatric residency programs in the nation. Academic responsibilities include teaching medical students and residents.
Candidates must be BE/BC with fellowship training in Pediatric Endocrinology. Must be eligible to obtain licensure in the State of Michigan.
