Envision Physician Services is searching for a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician ­to become part of our prestigious practice at Oak Hill Hospital in­­ the Tampa Bay, Florida area. We are currently seeking a clinician with an interest in working in a busy community hospital as we well as working in a teaching environment. Qualified candidates should be BC/Peds with EM experience, and must have current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

• 8 private bed Pediatric ED opened April 2018
• Separate pediatric entrance
• 10,500 patient visits per year (pre-Covid)
• Coverage: 9 hour physician Plus In-house patient rounding [call and coverage for admissions] Avg Census of 1-2 patients
• Academic focus with EM, FP, IM residents and medical students
• EMR - Meditech
• Voice Recognition Dictation
• PALS required

In recent news The Department of Emergency Medicine at Oak Hill Hospital, in collaboration with the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, received Initial Accreditation in 2018 to establish a new allopathic Emergency Medicine Residency program in Greater Tampa Bay, FL. The Programs is approved for Six Residents per year, 18 total residents with the First class of PGY1 residents having started July 1, 2018. The Emergency Medicine Residency Program has the benefit of being a new program, offering the ability to provide a cutting-edge learning environment using the latest educational ideas and theories.
