The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and UPMC Children’s Hospital are recruiting a recruiting for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor outside the tenure stream in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine in Pittsburgh, PA. The candidate must have completed a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship program and be Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.

Must have an MD or equivalent with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license. H1B visa sponsorship available.

Opportunity Details

  • Join a Division with over twenty pediatric emergency medicine faculty and general pediatrician faculty as well as over twenty advanced practice providers
  • You will join an outstanding pediatric emergency medicine fellowship training program, including nine fellows
  • Will work alongside and provide support to Neonatologists
  • Schedule is 13 shifts per month
  • Rotating shift schedule to days, nights and weekends
  • Clinical academic appointment
  • 80% clinical and 20% teaching/administrative
  • Cerner EMR
