Lee Health is seeking a Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrician!

Located near Southwest Florida's beaches is Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida - a state-of-the-art pediatric facility that delivers vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. This 135-bed regional hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only children's hospital between Tampa and Miami. Golisano provides various specialized services to take care of all of our community's children, from emergency care to behavioral health, surgery to critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more. The hospital has a 16 bed PICU and a 70 bed NICU with 24 hours in-house Neonatology coverage.

The organization has four acute care hospitals and two specialty hospitals that together house 1,812 hospital beds.

Position Information:

Lee Physician Group (LPG) – Pediatric Neurology/Developmental & Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrician to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. The candidate for this position must have completed a Development Pediatric Fellowship from an ACGME accredited program. Practice-based experience in developmental/behavioral pediatrics is preferred. Applicant must hold a current Florida license or be eligible for licensure. This practice is comprised of an interdisciplinary team of 4 Pediatric Neurologists, 5 Developmental Pediatricians, 4 Behavioral Health Pediatricians, 5 Psychologists, 3 Social Workers, 1 Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, 1 Licensed Mental Health Counselor, 2 Autism Navigators, 1 Behavioral Health Specialist, and several other critical support staff. This central practice location is off of Bass Road in Fort Myers, FL. This position is primarily outpatient, and the providers utilize EPIC for their electronic medical records.
