St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia is seeking a fellowship trained board certified/board eligible full-time Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician to meet the growing demand for care in Philadelphia, PA. St. Chris is a non-sectarian, 189-bed free-standing children's hospital providing cutting-edge medical services to children across the Greater Philadelphia metropolitan area. This is an outstanding opportunity for highly-qualified individuals with the skills to contribute to the vitality of a clinically strong department affiliated with one of the most progressive and community-oriented children's hospitals in the nation.

We are seeking a dynamic individual interested in a clinical practice and resident education in an outpatient setting, with limited inpatient responsibilities. Our division sees children with the broad spectrum of developmental and behavioral issues. In this position, the candidate will be an involved in the teaching of medical students, nurse practitioner students, pediatric and residents. This is a chance to join a multidisciplinary team with a wide array of specialists to support patients and their families including psychologists, audiologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, social workers, and pediatricians.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates should have an MD/DO degree and be qualified for appointment as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor of Pediatrics at Drexel University College of Medicine
  • Fellowship trained board certified/board eligible Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician
  • The ideal candidate will have a reputation as a talented physician leader with a record of accomplishment in clinical care, medical education, and scholarship. Mentorship of junior faculty will be an important part of this role.
  • All candidates must be board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and hold or be eligible for an unrestricted and unchallenged license to practice medicine in the state of Pennsylvania.
