Do you have a passion for helping children with developmental, learning, or behavioral problems? If you are steeped in the knowledge and experience of providing treatment to children and adolescents who encounter a wide range of developmental and behavioral difficulties, then this opportunity is right up your alley. Join a highly respected school of medicine as you mentor others in the areas of neurodevelopment in the Department of Pediatrics with a team who is nationally ranked for their medical education and research in healthcare. Your endeavor, in aligning with this group, is to develop a 4 week program which will further educate residents in the fundamental knowledge of neurosciences, relevant to the field, as well as theoretical frameworks for development and behavior from birth to young adulthood. This will be a required rotation for all pediatric residents in developmental pediatrics, ambulatory clinic work and academic pursuits. Requirements include: Board Certified in Pediatrics; Fellowship training in developmental behavioral or neurodevelopmental pediatrics. Proven experience with the care of children and families with a range of developmental disabilities. This is a perfect opportunity to make an impact at a top rated medical university's brand new state-of-the-art interdisciplinary facility and help drive the department’s vision for the future to the next level. Enjoy working and living in one of the most highly rated places in North America. Low cost of living and no state income taxes makes it easy to enjoy this beautiful mountainous region surrounded by national forests where this top ranking medical university system serves over one million people with healthcare. Open rank (clinical or convertible to tenure track) and salary are dependent on qualifications and experience.
