Our teams provide services for nearly 213,000 outpatient visits, more than 83,000 emergency room visits and over 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. We are currently seeking an Attending and a Director of Pediatric Critical Care physician to join our 4-bed accredited PICU at Harlem Hospital Center, a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 24 Pediatric Residents

• The ideal candidate must have completed a Pediatric Intensive Care Fellowship and be board certified in Pediatrics and board certified/board eligible in Pediatric Intensive Care

• This position will be eligible for an Academic appointment through Columbia’ s Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons commensurate with experience

• Responsibilities include

• Night call from home, very light and only one weekend per month. Conducting PICU rounds with pediatric resident team and Columbia University medical students, establish PICU clinical guidelines, conduct mock codes, perform simulation drills.
