Nurses Etc Staffing is looking for part-time Pediatric Intensivists to join our team at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. This is a unique opportunity to give back to our military members and their beneficiaries.

Position Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Degree/Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.). Successfully completed an Internship, Pediatric Residency, and Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship in an accredited U.S. Pediatric Training Program and is board eligible (BE) or board certified (BC) in Pediatric Critical Care.
  • Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Experience: A minimum of 24 months of experience in a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) within the last 36 months.
  • Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in General Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.Additionally, at a minimum, must be board eligible for certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine without additional education or training being required for board certification.
  • Licensure/Registration: Hold a permanent, full, and unrestricted license to practice as a Pediatrician in the location of the Madigan Army Medical Center and must meet credentialing/accreditation requirements of the Madigan Army Medical Center, Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), and Department of Defense. License cannot be under investigation nor have any adverse action pending from a State Board ornational licensing/certification agency.
