VISTA is seeking Pediatric Critical Care clinic & call coverage in Southern Florida (Board Certified Pediatrics and Critical Care).
Location: Florida
Duration: Ongoing while hiring
Board requirement: Board certified (BE accepted if within 3-4 years of residency).
Schedule: Full time
Shifts: Monday through Friday, in-house 8 hours and call from home 16 hours.
Shift Responsibility: Clinic and call
Specialty: Pediatrics Critical Care
Procedures: PICU patients, call from home, sign off and supervise NNP on floor, PICU admissions and when they are on call from home/hotel give orders over the phone for floor patients
Census: PICU Census: 4 ADC (ALOS-3.5 days)
Peds Floor Census: 14 ADC (ALOS-3 days)
Back-up: Pediatric back up includes cardiology, surgery, nephrology, endocrinology, neurology, gastroenterology, perinatology, hematology/oncology, ortho, radiology, anesthesia, ophthalmology and infection disease.
EMR: Meditech
License requirement: Must be licensed before presentation
