Northwest Texas Healthcare System is assisting Texas Tech University recruit a Pediatric Intensivist in Amarillo, TX.

The position will be with a large university-based multi-specialty group. The group is comprised of faculty and staff from the Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Medicine and enjoys a strong reputation throughout the region. The Pediatric sub-group currently has 26 physicians on staff (including 9 Pediatricians, 12 pediatric sub-specialists, 4 Neonatologists and 1 Pediatric Intensivist). Care will be provided at the Level III NICU and 12-bed PICU at the Children’s Hospital at Northwest Texas healthcare System. The position will include typical critical care duties, including vent management, central lines and sedation. Call will be shared equally on a 1:2 rotation, with coverage at one hospital.

Ideal candidate will be Board certified in Pediatric Critical Care, and have at least five years of previous experience. Compensation will be competitive and will include a base salary, full benefits package and sign-on bonus.
