Children’s Hospital in Texas is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Intensivist to join a team of 6. This is a nonprofit, freestanding, tertiary care Children’s Hospital in South Texas. The population served is over 2 million and is one of the youngest and fastest growing in the USA. The hospital provides comprehensive pediatric services including NICU, PICU and more than 40 pediatric subspecialists. The hospital maintains a teaching affiliation with a major university, and has its own pediatric residency program.

-6 person Intensive Care team
-Cover 18 bed PICU
-Range of services, including, ECMO, high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide and CRRT
-Dedicated, world-class Cardiac Surgery Program
-Requires strong cardiac training or experience
-Academic Appointment with University of Texas
-Optional academic activities
-Strong comprehensive benefits through state of Texas
-Accrued vacation time starting with approximately 4 weeks in year one
-Relocation, professional costs, etc.
-H1 sponsorship, but sorry not J1 eligible
-If needing TX license, 90 days to get temporary faculty permit
