A hospital in central Iowa is seeking a pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon for locum tenens vacation coverage. Travel, lodging and transportation is covered for this assignment.
The locum will provide 24 hour call coverage and will round on inpatient patients daily.
The surgeon will not typically be the admitting provider, except for emergency surgeries. The intensivist will act as admitting provider with CT surgeon as consult.
Dates Needed: November, December vacation coverage
Case Load/PPD: 3 ICU beds on average
