This free standing Children's Hospital is advancing a comprehensive Heart Center to meet the healthcare needs of congenital heart patients in South Texas. The Center is recruiting a BC/BE Cardiologist with expertise in cardiac imaging. The ideal candidate will have at least five years’ experience as a dedicated echocardiographer, and 4th year training in echocardiography would be a plus.
The Heart Center has committed substantial space for the creation of an imaging lab that can centralize studies, including telemedicine communication for outpatient studies around the region. Current imaging faculties (2) have expertise in MRI and fetal imaging. In addition, the Heart Center includes one electrophysiologist, two interventional cardiologists, numerous outpatient cardiologists and a team of board-certified congenital heart surgeons.
