Job Description

Last Update: 9/24/20
An allergist is needed to replace a retiring physician in Alaska. Alaska has a really unique environment for allergists, due to the weather, and you will be affiliated with eConsults. This will be a 100 percent outpatient solo position, but they also have a partnership with another allergist in Alaska to collaborate, and they do a lot of research at the other facility. The incoming physician will work 30 clinical hours per week and 10 administrative hours (most physician work 4 days a week) and there will be no call. See 12 to 15 patients per day and they are currently booked out for a month. They are accepting candidates who are board certified or board eligible in allergy, or asthma and immunology.

This employed opportunity has an amazing income potential of $500k with base plus an excellent wRVU structure, an annual incentive bonus, and an APP supervision bonus. You will also be provided with 65k for relocation assistance/sign-on, medical/dental/vision benefits, 7 weeks of vacation, CME, a 401k retirement plan with match, disability, and malpractice insurance.

Come live and practice in Fairbanks, Alaska with its population of over 100,000 residents. Fairbanks is a university community with a surprising amount of arts, music, theater, and community activities.
