The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) School of Medicine and newly established clinical entity, UTHealth Rio Grande Valley are growing. The Department of Pediatrics seeks a fulltime Faculty member for Adolescent Medicine. The successful candidate(s) is/are expected to maintain a clinical practice, supervise residents and teach medical students and develop an area of scholarship. Interest in University Student Health is desired. They must also maintain an educational environment conductive to education for residents and students in each of the ACGME/LCME competency areas. We also value experience with underserved populations such as is found in the Rio Grande Valley. Improving the health of the children of the Rio Grande Valley now and for future generations is our goal.

Candidates must be an MD, DO or have an equivalent degree from an accredited institution and have or be eligible for a Texas medical license. Academic rank and salary will be awarded commensurate with experience, qualifications and academic credentials. Women, veterans and minorities are encouraged to apply.
