Job Description

Last Update: 10/02/23

St. Luke's Health System in Idaho seeks a BC/BE Adolescent Medicine Physician with primary training in pediatrics, family medicine, or internal medicine to join our large, collegial group of pediatric subspecialists.

Certification or Fellowship training in Pediatric Adolescent Medicine required.

Our community and our Children’s Hospital are looking for an Adolescent Medicine Physician to lead and improve the services that we provide in all areas of adolescent medicine, including primary care and prevention, mental health, reproductive health, eating disorders, and substance abuse. Patient care will be primarily outpatient, with some support provided to our pediatric hospitalist team via inpatient consultation for patients admitted with eating disorders and/or challenges in other areas of Adolescent Medicine expertise.

St. Luke’s Health System is partnering to develop a pediatric residency, with first class scheduled to begin in 2023. This Adolescent Medicine Physician would participate part-time in the education of pediatric residents, and there are opportunities for further involvement in the pediatric residency and curricular development, if desired. Additionally, St. Luke’s Health System has an active Research Department, such that research can be supported if desired, but research participation is not required.

This is a great opportunity for a compassionate physician looking to help us expand our well-established practice. Our physicians enjoy a healthy work/life balance in state of the art outpatient settings and a flexible 4-day work week.
