This large southeast GA medical center is seeking a board-certified Pathologist to serve as the hospital department Medical Director. This is a high-level position which requires an experienced pathologist with excellent leadership skills. This is a working leadership position to include approximately 10% Administration and 90% Clinical responsibilities, committee meetings and quality data control. The pathology team will be made up of 4 Pathologists and the facility does around 13,000 surgeries a year.

Highlights include:

  • AP/CP Board Certification is required
  • Hematopathology subspecialty preferred
  • 10 years Hospital based and Medical Director Experience
  • Georgia license or FCVS in place
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and management experience is a plus.
