VISTA's Permanent Placement Division is recruiting two BC/BE Pathologists in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology for a private independent pathologist-owned and operated surgical pathology and cytology laboratory. Benefits of this permanent position include:
Opportunity Benefits:
* Join 2 other physicians
* Hospital work 50% and outpatient 50%
* Average schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am -5:00 pm
* Call is 1:4
* Case volume is about 5,000 cases per year, per pathologist
* Facility provides quiet space, is conveniently located across from the hospital and offers the ability to maintain relationships with the clinicians
* Provides comprehensive state-of-the-art, reliable, and accurate diagnostic
services to its physicians and major area hospitals
* In-house immunohistochemistry department for any special stains/requests
* The laboratory is supported by highly qualified Histotechnologist,
Cytotechnologist, Technicians and office staff
* Organization also includes physician specialists in dermatopathology,
cytopathology, molecular pathology, and hematopathology
* Ability and willingness to perform radiology adequacy assessment and engage with surgeons in the OR during frozen sections
* Liaison between the hospital administration, medical staff and the community
* Laboratory informational system is Orchard and VoiceBrook is used for dictation
* Competitive salary of $275,000-300,000 annually
