An excellent opportunity is available for a Pathologist with the desire to become partner in a private practice:

  • Join a team of 4 experienced Pathologists that have been practicing from 11 to 18 years.
  • Flexible schedule Monday through Friday.
  • Call is 1:4. Very light call when scheduled.
  • Minimal outreach required.
  • Read 60-70 cases a day.
  • Variety of specimens from small biopsies to resections (ie colon, breast, Whipple).
  • Leadership opportunities available.
  • Particular interest in Hemopathology a plus.
  • Opportunity to work in the hospital system and other independent practices in the area.
  • New graduates with strong leadership skills encouraged to apply.

We are a private group practice, incorporated in 1969, consisting of four anatomic and clinical pathologists serving 3 hospitals in Wisconsin, 4 hospitals in Upper Michigan and over 40 outreach clinics. We provide quality service to approximately 32,000 patients a year. Our board certified pathologists and experienced staff provide the highest level of service to our clients and their patients.

Location Info

Located in the lovely Wisconsin River valley at the center of the state. We have a metro area population of 80,000 with excellent schools, busy performing arts center, large private music conservatory, and visual arts center. Quiet residential neighborhoods surround Lake Wausau and overlook the Wisconsin River or have views of Rib Mountain State Park. A normal commute is ten minutes to any part of town. We enjoy four seasons of recreation including all water sports, sailing, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, soccer, down-hill and cross-country skiing. We are conveniently located three hours from Milwaukee and Minneapolis.
