Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform grossing and sign-out for all pathology cases as the sole pathologist
- Sign out bone marrow biopsies, general surgical pathology, and cytology
- Review peripheral blood smears and conduct crystal exams
- Interpret clinic biopsies from general surgery, urology, and gynecology
- Utilize Meditech and Softpath EMR systems for case management
Additional Information
- Must hold an active Illinois medical license
- Board certification required in Anatomic Pathology & Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology
- Experience with Meditech EHR and Softpath EMR preferred
