Job Description
Medstaff is assisting with Anatomic Pathology coverage for a client located just east from the JFK Airport on Long Island.
Here are the details:
- Looking for a Board Certified Anatomic Pathologist with a NY License and a couple years of experience
- Will be M-F, 8am-4pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch - might consider part time
- Pathologist will help handle increased grossing and reading 30-35 slides per day; mostly surgical, and some cytology
- Will be working with two pathology assistants
- EMR is Allscripts, but labs use WindowPath for Pathology dictation and reporting (experience would be a plus)
- Starts as soon as accepted and credentialed and requires a 3-month commitment, with possibility for extension
