SCHEDULE:
- Part-Time to Start (1-2 Days per Week)

- Option to Increase (full-time potential in near future)

- No On-Call, Evenings, or Weekends



HOURS OF OPERATION:

- Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

- Friday/Saturday/Sunday, closed

FULL-TIME COMPENSATION:
- $225,000 to $350,000 Base Salary, dependent upon experience

COMPANY PROFILE:
For more than 15 years, this interventional pain management private practice has been located in the heart of Spartanburg, with a mission to ensure each and every patient is able to live their lives pain-free. They are a full-scope pain management practice, utilizing a variety of procedures, as well as chiropractic care and medication management, to help patients combat chronic pain. They are currently hiring due to growth and a desire to expand their medical services.



POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Serve as a pain medicine physician, seeing a variable number of patients per day - appointments are scheduled according to type of visit, provider preference, and hours of shift scheduled. On average during an 8-hour shift, a physician will see up to 30 patients.


All visits are prepped and supported by a clinical assistant, who is available to help the physician as needed.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

- epidural injections
- facet injections

- trigger point injections

- large/small joint injections
- medial branch blocks
- radio frequency ablations

- medication management

Initially, the role will be 75%+ medication management, gradually shifting to 50% procedures and 50% medication management. The office staff ensures that patients on medication are properly monitored.

The office resources include, but are not limited to:

- fluoroscopy suite

- pain table

- ultrasound equipment

- RF generator

- digital x-ray

The practice is happy to accommodate any procedures the physician would like to perform that are suitable to an outpatient setting.

There are no on-call duties, nights, or weekends, unless the physician requests to work outside of the listed business hours.


The practice uses the Sevocity EHR.


REQUIREMENTS:
- South Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- DEA
- Board Certification or Eligibility, relevant field
- experience or training in interventional pain medicine
