A pain management practice in New York is planning to hire a physician. They are looking for pain management physician for hospital-based patients. You will help define pain management policy and protocols. You will work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. This group supports the PCP in maintaining quality of care for pain management patients while decreasing the risk of narcotic dependency. You will provide full scale clinical and administrative pain management services. You will also triage all patients through the ED and vigilantly move patients to appropriate specialties. You will also facilitate pre-operative pain consultations for patients scheduled for surgery. P> You will receive a very competitive compensation package, family medical benefits, and five weeks of vacation. You will also be provided life insurance, LTD/STD, a 401K and retirement with 4 percent matching and profit sharing, and one week of CME.
