Prestigious Health System hiring an experienced Pain Management Physician!
The Physician will be working with a combination of both inpatient/outpatient pain management patients with the primary focus being inpatients. The department has extensive support, advanced practice providers there to help support.
The incumbent would need to be fellowship trained in pain management with residency training in PM&R, Neurology or Anesthesiology.
The Physician will work Monday-Friday, 7-5ish, no weekends and no call! On average the physician will see 30 patients a day, but that includes pharmacy drive-thru follow up care so follow-ups count toward the 30 being they are super quick. Monday-Friday, 7-5ish, no weekends and no call.
As far as the outpatient component goes, the physician can do as much clinic as they can fill - but will need to focus heavily on inpatient to establish a referral basis. Long term, we would expect the clinic to be two half days per week.
Compensation Details: 250K Base Salary, Plus a net cash bonus where we bonus you 95 percent of cash collected after your base is covered. Essentially, there is no cap on earnings - we have had docs do very well in this specialty under this model.
