The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine Department of Surgery is recruiting an Academic Otolaryngologist to join our team. The successful candidate will have demonstrated strong clinical capabilities in the field of general or subspecialty otolaryngology. Responsibilities include clinical care for otolaryngology patients; teaching of medical students and residents. A track record of academic productivity is required, as the candidate will be involved actively in the research and academic mission of the department. Academic rank will be awarded commensurate with experience and credentials.

Applicants must be an MD, DO or foreign equivalent, be BC/BE in Otolaryngology, possess or be eligible for a Texas medical license, qualified to hold a faculty appointment in the Department of Surgery UTRGV School of Medicine and appropriate hospital staff appointments. Demonstration of strong leadership skills and commitment to the education of residents and medical students is essential. Women, veterans and minorities are encouraged to apply.
