NEW ENT Position - Academic Program
South Carolina

The Opportunity:

  • Starting a NEW Academic ENT Division in 2021 - Fellowship & Research
    • Already 13 ACGME residency/fellowship programs established
    • Teaching now – looking to have the fellowship established within the next 2-3 years
    • Looking to have research established within the next 2-3 years
    • Oversee all physicians and development of academic program
    • Make sure all staff is in place for all facility locations
    • Continue to help develop clinical sites and build department productivity and efficiency
  • 3 facility locations - 900+ bed's with a Level I & II trauma centers
    • all facilities are within 50 min. of each other
  • Your service coverage area is around 500,000 people
  • Support Staff/Equipment:
    • (4) robots – DaVinci
    • (3) rooms each day at each facility for providers
    • We have a total of 50 support staff in office
    • (6) APP’s
    • CNA / RN
    • Scheduler
    • Option for NP/PA once fully ramped
    • Great equipment at your fingertips to utilize
  • Built-in referrals for your Department: 1200+ providers within our primary/secondary coverage area
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8:00a to 5:00p
    • 2 days: Clinic - 20 to 25 patients
    • 2 days: OR - perform on average 7-10 procedures/cases per day
    • .5 day: Administrative day
  • EMR: Epic
  • Call: 1:12 - currently
    • Facial Trauma Call: PAID - Not required - 1:6 if you choose

The Financials:

  • Base Salary: Depends on experience and credentials
  • Directorship Stipend: We will discuss when we talk
  • Production: We call this "system initiative" and it is 6.5% of your base salary
  • Sign-on bonus: $30,000
  • Vacation: 7 weeks
  • CME: $5,000 annually
  • Relocation: up to $15,000

  • Malpractice: paid - occurrence - tail coverage
