ENT Residency Program Director opportunity located in Fayetteville, NC Located 65m from Raleigh Full-Time, Permanent Job Details: -Graduate Medical Education Department is seeking a Program Director Academic Physician -Provide professional expertise and leadership to lead a start up proposed Otolaryngology Surgery Residency. -University affiliated position. -Minimum of 3 years clinical practice as an Otolaryngologist post residency -Minimum of 1-3 years as an APD/Core Faculty experience teaching in an approved AOA or ACGME Otolaryngology Surgery Residency program -Experience with publications and grant writing skills preferred but not required. -Large teaching hospital currently hosting multiple different residencies. Job Duties: -Provide administrative leadership and direction to the program. -Provide direct patient care, supervise and precept residents in clinical settings -Supervision and oversight of Otolaryngology Surgery Residency support staff -Assist with recruiting of residents -Develop, revise and maintain curriculum -Lead in residents performance improvement plans, coaching, remediation and disciplinary activities as needed -Oversee and teach didactics curriculum to residents -Ensure the Annual Program Evaluation with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education WebAds are updated Compensation: -Competitive compensation + generous benefits -Paid Malpractice -CME Time and Allowance, Accrued Paid Time Off -403(b) match and 457(b) -Health and Dental -Other desirable benefits
