Berman Skin Institute is seeking a Hair Transplant Surgeon to join our established and Dermatology Practice in Los Altos, CA.

Berman Skin Institute is now a group of dermatology clinics with eleven medical clinic locations across Northern California, including Los Altos, Cameron Park, Fremont, Placerville, Pleasanton, Roseville, Sacramento, San Francisco, Tracy, Walnut Creek and Yuba City. With a well-established and diverse patient population, BSI has a set of broad and comprehensive service offerings, including medical hair removal/restoration, medical and surgical dermatology, including treatment for acne, moles, allergic skin reactions, autoimmune diseases, skin infections, Mohs skin cancer surgery. Cosmetic dermatology (including laser treatment of unwanted hair, sun damage, wrinkled skin, unwanted tattoos, skin discoloration, varicose/spider veins of the legs and face, etc), skin care products and med-spa/aesthetic treatments such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion and HydraFacials.

BSI is one of the largest skin laser centers in the world, with over 50 lasers on site, and many other non-laser devices for skin and hair conditions, such as 4 ARTAS robots for hair transplant. Dr. David Berman has performed the ARTAS robotic hair transplant procedure longer than any physician in the industry. We are now seeking to add a board-certified ENT to the practice to perform hair transplants alongside Dr. Berman. BSI provides our physicians with strong administrative and support staff including an experienced team of RNs, surgical techs, and Physician Assistants.

Position Expectations
Experienced ENT, Dermatologist, Plastic Surgeon or General Surgeon would make the ideal candidate. Should have exceptional surgical and procedural skills, great interpersonal skills, and a desire to focus on surgical hair restoration performing hair transplant procedure.

Under the guidance of Dr. David Berman, BSI provides an extensive hair transplant specialty training with paid monthly stipend during training.

Position Requirements:

• Consultation of clients for hair transplants and other hair treatments the practice offers.
• Analyze patients’ medical history, medication allergies, physical condition, and examination results to verify the operation’s necessity and to determine the best procedure for the most effective result.
• Explaining to the patients the entire flow of events right from extraction to slitting to hair implantation.
• Ability to build relationships by matching patients to their hair restoration desired outcome
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Provide objective, first-level determinations, ensuring consistent and

Minimum Qualifications

• Board Certification in Otolaryngology
• ACLS Certification
• Current and unrestricted CA License or ability to obtain CA medical license
• Commitment to medical ethics and high standards of care
