OPPORTUNITY DETAILS:

  • Work a 3.5 – 4 day clinic week, with one surgical day on Tuesday
  • 2 year partnership track
  • Join an established practice to replace a retiring physician
  • Primary service area supporting a population of 70,000
  • On-call for single specialty is 10 days/month; non on-call days, ENT is backed up by general surgery
  • Board certification preferred/board eligibility required

ABOUT OUR ENT DEPARTMENT:

  • Historical clinic volumes have been approximately 2,500 RVU’s/year, with an average of 18-22 patients/day
  • New patient appointments average 6-7 weeks to get in and 5-6 weeks for follow up appointments
  • Outreach is presently 1 day/month, 1 hour south of main campus; opportunity for additional outreach available if desired

Septoplasty – 4 , Myringotomy w/ adenoidectomy – 1 , Facial/Lip Laceration Repair – 2, Basal Cell Excision, Full thick graft – 2, Nasal Polypectomy – 1, Uvulectomy – 1, Tonsillectomy – 9, Foreign body removal in ear – 1, Laryngoscopy with Biopsy – 4, Myringotomy w/ T&A – 5, Endoscopic Sinuplasty – 1, Myringotomy, Bilateral w/Tube Insertion – 53, Tonsillectomy w/ Adenoidectomy – 64, Myringotomy w/ T&A – 5, Turbinate, Trimming or Cauterization – 8, Cyst Excision – 1, Dacryocystorhinostomy – 3, I & D – 3, Adenoidectomy – 20, Neck Mass Excision – 2

  • Serves full population from pediatrics to geriatrics; historically the patient population has been 25% pediatrics, and 37% ages 65 and up
  • Full time audiologist with dedicated, seasoned ENT/audiology support staff
  • Monthly visiting allergist

Fergus Falls is approximately 170 miles northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul and 25 miles east of the North Dakota border. Our community is well known for the lake country beauty, wooded hills, and rolling farmland. The city of Fergus Falls is the county seat of Otter Tail County, which is home to more than 1,000 lakes within the region. Within the city limits, there are 5 lakes, 17 park and recreational areas, and an 18-hole public golf course.
