Job Description

Last Update: 8/13/20

Tenet Healthcare is actively seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Otolaryngologist for a full-time, employed opportunity within the Department of Otolaryngology at Children’s Hospital of Michigan.

  • Excellent opportunity to join one of the largest pediatric ENT programs in Michigan
  • 40 clinical hours per week with trauma service on-call coverage
  • OR time will be at CHM’s main campus as well as the pediatric stand-alone location in Troy, MI
  • Pediatric Audiology services are provided at all ENT locations

The Pediatric Otolaryngologists on staff provide specialized care and perform more procedures than any other children’s hospital in the state of Michigan. In addition to providing routine ENT care for otherwise healthy children, the department also treats very sick and chronically ill children that other ENT programs may not perform due to higher complexities. Multi-specialty comprehensive care is provided for disorders such as aerodigestive, sleep apnea, craniofacial abnormalities, vascular malformations, and hearing loss (Cochlear Implants and BAHA).

For nearly 130 years, Children’s Hospital of Michigan has been dedicated to providing high quality care to children and adolescents in the Metro Detroit area and Southeastern Michigan. A proud member of Detroit Medical Center, CHM is the first and largest freestanding pediatric hospital in Southeast Michigan. This 228-bed facility has an international reputation in pediatric medicine, surgery and research, and training more pediatricians than any other facility in Michigan.

Candidates must be BE/BC and fellowship trained in Pediatric Otolaryngology. An interest in academics is a plus. Must be eligible to obtain licensure in the state of Michigan.

If interested, please submit a copy of your current CV for immediate consideration. All inquiries and personal information are kept confidential.
