A hospital in California is seeking a Orthopedic Trauma Physician to provide quality patient care for a Locum Tenens assignment.
Assignment
- Dates: 1 week a month call coverage only, ongoing
- Schedule: 7:00AM - 7:00AM, 1 week a month
- Setting: Inpatient
- Call: 24 hour for the week
- Volume: High volume
- Patient Ages: All ages - they do have a pediatric orthopedic trauma doctor for true kids but this doc may be asked to see teenagers. Up to physician discretion to an extent.
- Procedures: Pelvic, hip, knee, foot, ankle
- Cases: Pelvic, hip, knee, foot, ankle, etc. They have a separate team for hand and shoulder. Anything else is fair game.
- Support Staff: Full hospital support staff
- EMR/Charting: Epic
- Requirements
- Boards: Board Certified
- Certifications: ACLS; BLS; DEA; Fluoro (Fluoroscopy)
