Orthopedic Surgery position in Suburban Orlando, FL!!
Employed setting through the hospital.
The employed Orthopedic practice is located in an existing building proximal to the hospital. It has adequate space to accommodate an additional Orthopedic Surgeon.
Competitive Financial package (based on MGMA guidelines), incentive bonus based on WRVUs, potential for medical education debt assistance, commencement bonus, nice fringe benefits (vacation, CME, malpractice insurance, health, dental, etc.)
Reason for search: Growth/Expansion, replacement of a recently departed Orthopedist, there are 8 Orthopedists in the PSA with a demand of 17.4
Call: ER - 7 days a month, practice call: 1 in 3
8 Orthopedic Surgeons in the Service Area
5 OR Suites in the main OR, 2 suites for Women's Services
Blocked schedule according to productivity
Full time Anesthesia coverage consisting of three Anesthesiologists and 4 CRNAs scheduled daily through the 5 day work week with full night and weekend call coverage.

Incoming candidate may live in Orlando if so desired.
Centrally located between Orlando and Tampa, the area has become a major destination for families all over the world. Because of it's location, it is one of the fastest growing cities in the area. It is a place where amusement parks, historical sites, and beaches are within a reasonable drive.
Medical Center is a 200 bed acute care facility offering a full spectrum of medical services supporting over 200 physicians, representing a variety of medical specialties.
