Health System is actively recruiting for an experienced and dynamic, BE/BC Orthopaedic Surgeon to partner with us in building a high quality, full-service program in the Southern Illinois region. Organization is a physician-led, vertically integrated health system that includes more than 500 physicians across 80 different specialties and subspecialties providing patient-focused, world-class care.

Practice opportunity details include:

  • Total Joint Replacement (knee and hip) experience or training is mandatory to be considered for this opportunity. Minimally invasive training or experience preferred
  • Dedicated Orthopaedic Physician Assistant
  • Strong outpatient therapy services program that includes home health. “Swing Bed” inpatient rehabilitation is also available for patients that are not ready to return home
  • Block surgical time and dedicated clinic hours all at one location. Hospitalist service available to round on patients
  • All surgeries will be performed at a 104-bed HFAP accredited facility with 5 OR’s that serves 8 Southeastern Illinois counties (109,000+ individuals)
  • One hour from Evansville, Indiana and is less than three hours from Indianapolis and St. Louis. The community offers an abundance of outdoor recreational activities that include fishing lakes, community parks, an aquatic center and an 18-hole golf course.   • Hospital offers a comprehensive range of surgical services including: General, Oncology, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Otolaryngology, Urological, Podiatric, and Bronchoscopes
