Southern California Region – General Surgeon Needed
Private Practice, 100% “Bread and Butter” Cases, and No Robotics Required
Spanish Proficiency Required with a Starting Salary of $425,000 a Year

Step into a well-respected, established, and financially stable private general surgery practice that has been serving the community for over 20+ years. The practice will have the backing and support from the largest hospital in the county.

  • Clinic hours will be M-F from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and one Saturday a month from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • A Spanish speaking General Surgeon will be required as to cater to the patient population
  • 1:4 call on the weekends – Mon-Fri surgeons take call for their own patients – no trauma
  • Any additional call that is picked up will be paid out at $1,750 per shift
  • See about 22 to 28 patients per day in clinic (no peds) with only one clinic location
  • Blocked OR time (with First Assist) with the 5 major hospitals in the community
  • Perform an average of 20 surgical cases a week – only “bread and butter” cases
  • Shared office space, 9 exam rooms, no procedure room, and a fully equipped practice
  • Minor and same day procedures will be performed in the local surgical center
  • All referrals will come through the PCP’s, the hospital, by taking call, and insurance
  • Nursing support, Anesthesia, Radiology, and ED are all classified as excellent
  • $10,000 relocation assistance with a $40,000 signing bonus and full benefits
  • Job requirements: Physician with MD/DO degree REQUIRED – Board Certified or truly Board Eligible with valid medical license
