Job Description

Last Update: 7/22/19
Central Florida medical center is seeking a fellowship trained, board certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in total joints. This is the opportunity to start an orthopedic practice with the support of administration and corporate leadership. The hospital would prefer a candidate with several years experience following fellowship. Ideally the 2014 candidate would be followed by a 2015 candidate. Experience in trauma will be a plus. ORS Sports Medicine candidates may apply, but there is no opportunity to focus solely on sports medicine. This Medical Center is a brand new two-story, 100,000 square foot hospital with 24 private medical-surgical beds and a six-bed ICU. In support of both inpatient and outpatient care, the facility provides a full range of acute care services including emergency services, diagnostic imaging, inpatient and outpatient surgery, cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services, supported by a medical staff of 125 doctors. The Emergency Department is approximately 11,000 square feet with 12 exam rooms, EMS entrance and helicopter pad.
