Orthopedic Surgeon Montclair, NJ

We are seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon to join our practice in Montclair, NJ. We are looking for an Orthopedic Surgeon, proficient in general orthopedic surgery, who enjoys working with patients and collaborating with colleagues to provide top quality patient care in our orthopedic practice. Ideally, the incoming surgeon is hard working, flexible, and a team player who has general orthopedics experience, and is comfortable treating traumas, such as hip and ankle fractures.

We have 3 locations :

(Montclair, Perth Amboy, and Paramus) and the physician will be seeing patients at each location.

Duties:

• Patient exam/evaluations and consults (medical history, physical exam, review imaging/reports and tests)
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests/labs (MRIs)
• Referral for care/therapy when medically necessary (physical therapy)
• Diagnosis and treatment care plan formulation
• Patient education as to care plan/surgical options, therapies and modalities, and post care instructions
• Documentation and timely progress notes
• Collaboration with the multispecialty team for comprehensive patient care
• Patient follow up and reexams
• Surgical/Operative care
• Emergency room call
• Possible sports coverage

Requirements:

• BCBE Orthopedic Surgeon
• Current Medical license in NJ

Schedule:

• Full time Mon-Fri
• Holidays and weekends for emergency coverage and ER call only

Compensation:

• $325k-$350k with bonus (DOE)
