We have a client in North Carolina that is in need of BC Orthopedic Traumatologists to provide coverage for their orthopedic service line. Each 24 hour shift requires 2 surgeons. One must be a fellowship trained in orthopedic trauma, the second surgeon can be a general orthopedic surgeon. Each 24 hour shift will allow for 1 surgeon to be in the operating room from 7a-7p then be on unrestricted back up call from 7p-7a. The second surgeon will be on primary call from 7p-7a, then unrestricted back up call, perform morning rounds, and on Mondays and Fridays see patients in clinic from 1:00-5:00 pm. Candidates who can work week long shifts are preferred. Coverage is desired to begin the first week of December. This will be an ongoing need.

Additional Details Include:
• Active NC license and DEA
• Level I Trauma Center
• Estimated 4-6 OR cases per day
• Estimated 5-10 consults per day
• 1,200 Ortho Trauma admissions annually
• Support by 7 Trauma Surgeons
• No APP support
• EMR is EPIC
• Paid malpractice, travel and accommodations
