Job Description

Last Update: 10/19/21
Join two other fellowship trained orthopedic traumatologists in a fully integrated Level II trauma center.

  • Established orthopedic department has subspecialty support with a 1:10 call schedule.
  • Anticipated case volumes would allow for maintenance of some concurrent elective practice.
  • Our orthopedists all function in a collegial group setting and share general call.
  • In addition to trauma, we have specialists in hand, sports, peds, adult reconstruction, and shoulder/elbow.

This collegial hospital setting includes additional trauma service through our established general surgery department and accredited general surgery residency program. Gundersen Health System offers a market competitive salary with a full benefits package which may include loan forgiveness or educational stipends for applicable training. Teaching and research opportunities are available.

Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible within the area of medicine stated. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system. Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff.
