This regional Medical Center in Macon, GA is recruiting two board certified/board eligible Fellowship trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeons to join its team.

The Health System is a 310 bed facility offering a 24-hour emergency room that offers specialized pediatric care. The system is pursuing a Level III Trauma designation. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient surgery options, rehabilitation programs, behavioral health and diagnostic services. The system’s breadth of care options includes specialty facilities such as the Heart Institute, an advanced cardiac center offering all services from non-invasive cardiology to open heart surgery, a Rehabilitation Center, a Robotics Institute, a Cancer Institute, and the Family Ties Birthing Center (a level III neonatal nursery). Additionally, the Center for Behavioral Health, located on the campus provides treatment to adults with psychiatric and addiction issues. The services provided include inpatient and outpatient programs, as well as a specialty program for senior adults.

Macon, home to musical legends the Allman Brothers Band and Otis Redding offers many art and cultural activities for those with a love for Art, History and Science. Located in central Georgia, Macon offers the atmosphere of a small town with all of the amenities found in a larger city. Great restaurants, ample school opportunities to choose from and many desirable neighborhoods make Macon one of the great locations to live in the south. Ideally located in the center of the state, Macon is within a one hour drive to Atlanta, ninety minutes from the North Georgia Mountains and a three hour drive to beaches.
