Hospital-owned practice Physicians are treated as if the MD is the owner. Salary is based upon MGMA figures, and paid to the physician monthly. At the end of the year, the physician receives 100% of the profits of the practice – just as they would if they owned the practice. We do not charge a fee for running the practices. They also receive full benefits including paid malpractice, family health insurance, relocation, CME allowance. Residents that want to make an early commitment, will be paid a monthly stipend to help with expenses through the duration of their training
