This Regional Hospital, a 295 bed regional facility, is seeking BC/BE orthopedic surgeon with Sports Fellowship to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with our local schools and the athletic coaches to take care of the athletes in our region. We currently have three general Orthopedic Surgeons in our community and need to recruit a fourth to take care of the patients in our region which has a population of 250,000. We have an established Hospitalist service to handle the orthopedic admissions. Also, newly renovated Operating Rooms and dedicated orthopedic rooms on our surgical unit. We have two outpatient surgery centers on our medical campus with convenient block scheduling for surgeons. This is an employed practice opportunity with participation in the general orthopedic call rotation as 1:4. Need is now. We will welcome Fellows as well as experienced candidates.
Ideal candidate would practice general orthopedics with the desire to take care of sports medicine patients. In addition to taking care of the sports injuries in our community the ideal candidate would participate in our Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Residency Program by precepting our resident and students on orthopedic rotations.
