White Plains Hospital Physician Associates (WPPA) is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Sports Medicine to join its growing hospital employed Orthopedic surgery practice. This team is currently compromised of twelve orthopedic sugeons including two Sports Medicine Surgeons who emphasize coordinated, collaborative, high quality care for our patients. WPPA consists of 150 providers throughout Westchester County, including locations in Armonk, New Rochelle, Scarsdale, and the greater White Plains area (just 25 miles outside Manhattan, NY)

White Plains Hospital is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Sports Medicine to join it's growing hospital employed orthopedic practice in Westchester (25 miles from Manhattan). This team is currently compromised of twelve Orthopedic Surgeons including two who specialize in Sports Medicine.

The Orthopedic Program specializes in:

• Joint Replacement

• Hand

• Foot & Ankle

• Sports Medicine

• Pain Management

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

The board-certified sports medicine, arthroscopic orthopedic surgeons, and surgeons specially trained in surgical hand procedures at White Plains Hospital are among the busiest and most experienced in the Westchester area.

Orthopedic floor nurses, physical therapists, dietitians, holistic nurses, orthopedic PAs and a Care Manager all work together in a collaborative, collegial work environment.

Utilizing the latest in research and the most advanced technology available, our fellowship-trained sports specialists, who have trained at some of the finest orthopedic institutes in the nation, employ a team approach to determine the best treatment plan and employ comprehensive diagnostic processes using the latest imaging technology.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ORTHOPEDICS SPORTS MEDICINE SURGEON

• Medical Degree - MD and an active NYS Medical License
• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Sports Medicine Fellowship
• Valid BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years work experience.
• New grads will be considered.
