We are seeking a BE / BC Orthopedic Surgeon fellowship trained in Sports Medicine who is looking for a unique opportunity. This opportunity combines the benefits of joining a Board Certified Surgeon in an employed model and hit the ground running. Huge demand in this area for an Orthopedic/Sports Medicine physician without all of the bureaucracy of a hospital or larger group practice, but without the significant capital investment and risk that is required to start your own practice. This opportunity is the best of both worlds. The physician will be able to shape the Practice and set all of the treatment protocols and have a very high level of autonomy in how the practice operates. You will share in ER call with a General Orthopedic Surgeon.
Compensation: Highly competitive compensation structure with unlimited bonus potential. Minimum guaranteed base salary and call $350k, +++++ depending on how much call you take. Unlimited bonus potential based on RVU's, plus benefit package and relocation assistance.
The ideal candidate will be someone who wants to live in a Coastal area, work hard and enjoy the fruits of his or her labor without the risk associated with starting his or her own practice. A good bedside manner is a requirement.
Requirements: Must be BC/BE, must have a current or pending GA. License, have a current & unrestricted DEA, Clean Databank and No current significant malpractice history.
