Orthopedic Spine Surgeon needed in Birmingham, AL Area

Join an established group of 9 Orthopedic surgeons and 1 Rheumatologist
  • $400K starting salary, $600 - $700K in third year
  • Very efficient practice, low overhead, provide you with what you need, see all accounting on a dashboard
  • 600 patient visits per month, 70 - 80 per week, 120 per week is busy
  • ORS based EMR: Xscribe
  • Digital x ray with u-arm, PT on-site
  • 60% office, 40% OR
  • 5 half day clinics, rest is OR time:: 1.5 days per week
  • Call: 1-2 night per month; 1:4 on weekends
  • Office call every other week
  • ER call 4 days per week, paid for call
  • Not level one trauma, mostly ambulatory injuries; Call is infrequent and easy
  • Lifestyle is good and a lot of free time
  • Group call is 1:3, almost all phone call, Hospitalists on staff, ER admits at night and see patient next day
