Job Description

Last Update: 6/30/20

Seeking a BE/BC hand surgeon to join an established Hand & Elbow Specialty practice, which is part of a hospital-employed, multi-specialty orthopedic group in a very busy tertiary center.

The Hand and Elbow practice is seeking one surgeon to join the current group of 4 surgeons and 1 physician assistant who treat patients in our Level 1 trauma center setting. Patients are seen in the practice within the medical office pavilion, which is located onsite at the hospital. The hand surgeons operate at both the hospital and at the hospital-owned ambulatory surgery center.

The new surgeon will share equally in Hand call and will have no responsibility with general orthopedic call coverage. The new surgeon could anticipate a very busy practice in a relatively short amount of time.

The practice is currently staffed by four surgeons and is supported by an onsite, licensed team of Occupational Therapists specially trained in upper extremity care.

Offers a competitive salary, sign-on bonus, CME stipend, malpractice coverage, relocation allowance, generous PTO and a comprehensive benefit package.
