Covering Hand surgery 24 hr Call at 2 hospitals
As soon as credentialed- ongoing for 4-6 months
Shifts per month- 4-6 shifts per month ongoing
Trauma level: II
Board: BC/BE in Hand REQ BC In hand Surgery and fellowship trained in Hand - Board Certified in Ortho or Plastic w/ a Hand Fellowship will be accepted. BC in Gen Surg will NOT be considered
Certification: CO lic, BLS, CPR
Call Details: Weekday 7a-7p, weekend end 7a-7p, 15% call back, 85% phine consult, beeper provided
Procedures: Will be expected to be backup in ED
patient Load: 95% adult, 5% peds, 4-5 ppd
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: 90 days
Backup: 1 hand surgeon, 5 orthos, 0 mid-levels
Exam rooms- 6
200 Hosp beds
20 ICU beds
