Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon opportunity in university town in Northeast West Virginia. Teaching appointment is also possible.

The successful candidate will practice in the area of foot and ankle surgery. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. For appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor rank, it is expected that candidates sustain an outstanding, extramurally supported research program.

We are reaching our goal of expertise in all sub-specialty areas of Orthopaedics including foot and ankle, spine, total joint replacement, sports medicine, hand, pediatrics, trauma, and musculoskeletal oncology. Our faculty are fellowship trained and respected nationally, but we emphasize more than surgical expertise - our mission is to provide excellence in patient care and customer service in the delivery of that care. As a part of a major academic teaching center, we use a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment and education of our patients. Our physicians have easy access to a full range of specialists.

Qualifications:

• Completion of ACGME-accredited orthopaedic surgery residency program
• Completion of Foot and Ankle fellowship
• Can accept H1B visa candidate if above criteria are met
• No J1 visa candidates
• Experienced or fresh out of training
