Orthopedic Surgery - Total Joints (SA195942)Orthopedic Surgery - Total JointsKissimmee, Florida

This regional medical center in Central Florida near Orlando is assisting a busy practice to find a fellowship trained, board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Joints. This is the opportunity to start an orthopedic practice with the support of corporate administration. Preferably, a candidate will have several years experience following fellowship and will not wish to focus solely on Sports Medicine. Experience in trauma is a plus.

The Regional Medical Center is a Joint Commission accredited 321-bed hospital that builds on a proud tradition of healthcare excellence in Osceola County, Florida. It is conveniently and centrally located in Heart of Kissimmee only minutes from Orlando, St. Cloud, Celebration and Poinciana.

As of the 2010 United States Census, the city population was 59,682 and is a Principal City of the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford, Florida, Metropolitan Statistical Area, which had a 2010 population of 2,134,411.

Moments to Orlando, Kissimmee is a family-oriented destination known for its themed dinner theaters, swamp tours and outdoor activities. In downtown Kissimmee, spend some time in Kissimmee Lakefront Park and walk around the waterfront, stopping for ice cream, some splashing in the fountain pool and perhaps a cast into the lake known for bass. Walk past the Monument of States, made of minerals from every state and many nations. Watch for murals depicting the town's past as a cattle capital, where present-day rodeos and cattle auctions allow visitors and residents to remember the historic past.
