A Philly Area Hospital is seeking a fellowship trained Total Joint Orthopaedic Surgeon to join their very busy and well-established practice in 30 minutes from Downtown Philadelphia. The new physician will join three experienced surgeons, two Certified Hand Therapists and three Doctors of Physical Therapy in our two modern suburban area office locations. Services include comprehensive general Orthopaedics and specialized care in shoulder, hand and upper extremity disorders, sports medicine and foot and ankle surgery. The community hospital is a 144-bed facility providing comprehensive medical services through approximately 25,000 emergency room visits, 8,200 inpatient admissions, and more than 500 community outreach programs annually. We have a fully developed Total Joint Program already in place which received Joint Commission Advanced Accreditation for Hip and Knee Replacement with a full-time nurse practitioner dedicated to managing and caring for total joint patients and a Top 10% Nationally Ranked Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation unit in the facility. The hospital has the largest Robotic Surgery Center in the area, an award-winning cardiovascular program, a fully accredited cancer center, NAPBC-accredited breast health center, and an acute inpatient rehabilitation center. The hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and has been recognized for its quality outcomes and clinical expertise across services lines that include joint replacement surgery, advanced heart failure care, and the designation as a Primary Stroke Center.
